Blackstone Valley United Methodist Men

The purpose of the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Men (BVUMM) is to be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek to do his will on a daily basis.

When John Wesley began the Methodist Church, it was with the firm belief that we, as Christians, needed and benefitted from being "connected."  And over the years, that belief has withstood the test of time.  That's why United Methodists are referred to as "connectional."

The Blackstone Valley United Methodist Men is spearheaded by a group of men dedicated to keeping that "connection" strong by providing a forum for fellowship among the men of the church.  We meet on a monthly basis in hopes of expanding our spiritual journeys while planning the overall direction of the BVUMM and are committed to energizing the group as a whole.  The group represents a cross section of men in the church with members currently ranging in age from their 30's into their 60's.  Membership is open to men of all ages and everyone's participation is welcome.

Meeting Dates and Location:

The Blackstone Valley United Methodist Men meet on the third Monday of the month from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  Meetings are held in Faith Hall at the church on 61 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, Massachusetts.

The next meeting of the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Men will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 6:30 PM.  We will be meeting in July at the West End Creamery, 481 Purgatory Rd., Whitinsville, MA 01588 for miniature golf and ice cream.
