Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church

Methodist Stitchers

Women, Work & WorshipThe Methodist Stitchers is a group of women who sew and provide pinning, cutting and ironing services.  We sew dresses for Christmas and Easter and donate them to girls in the community.  But our ministry is not limited to sewing dresses!  We also include several other sewing adventures!

In the month of February we will start making Easter dresses and begin simple sewing projects.  We will be making pillowcase dresses and T-shirt dresses for Hope4kids International for their Dress a Girl Around the World program.  The clothing goes with and to missionaries and with church outreach groups all over the world. We also plan to make simple summer clothing for Peace of Bread.

Join the merry band of Methodist Stitchers!  Try it, you might like it!!
