Church Council
The Church Council is composed of leaders and members of the church. Our purpose is to serve as an administrative and visionary group that guides the planning of programs, reviews and approves proposals for ministry groups and ensures that our programs are in line with the mission of the church.
Meeting Dates and Location:
The Church Council meets on the first Monday of the month from September to June at 7:00 PM. Additional meetings may be scheduled on an as-needed basis. Meetings are held in Faith Hall at the church on 61 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, Massachusetts.
The next meeting of the Church Council will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM. All church members are invited to attend.

Charge Conference
Each year in the Fall we hold our Annual Charge Conference which is led and scheduled by the District Superintendent. The entire church is invited to attend. We traditionally vote at the opening of the this meeting to adjourn as a Charge Conference and reopen as an all church conference so that all church members are allowed to vote. Before the actual Charge Conference, the District Superintendent meets separately with the Staff Parish Relations Committee to talk about the state of the church. At the Charge Conference the Pastor's salary for the coming year must be voted upon. The church budget, if it is ready, is also presented and voted upon and end of the year reports are given.
