Church Council Meeting Minutes
June 2, 2008
Members Present: Mike Sherry, Bob Marseglia, Joyce Gallagher, Charlie
Thompson, Steve Shangraw, Mark Gentry, Adele Gentry, Laural Plourde,
Barbara Fortin, Dean Fortin, Rev. Michele Ewers, Daniele Wilson, Carolyn
Mitchell, Elizabeth Snider
1. We opened the meeting with the celebration of Holy Communion
2. Previous meeting minutes were reviewed and accepted as presented.
3. New Business:
a. Girl Scout Meeting Request- Carolyn Mitchell
A request was made for meeting space
September 2008-January
2009 on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm for Girl Scouts. They were meeting at
the Village Church but have been displaced due to their current
renovations.
A motion was made, seconded and accepted for this request.
b. Building Use Policy- Laural Plourde
Laural presented the Building Use
Policy Recommendations from
the Trustees to us.
A discussion followed regarding
specifics of the policy. The policy
will be revised with recommendations from the church council.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
