Bone Marrow Registry Drive to be Held November 17

On Wednesday, November 17, Whitinsville Christian School will host a bone marrow registry drive from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Not only are more donors needed, but the costs associated with registering a new donor is about $100. You can help in many ways:
1. If you’re a healthy adult between the ages of 18 – 60, and willing to help any patient, please register at the drive. The procedure involves just a simple cheek swab.
2. Consider making a donation to the Be The Match Foundation. You can make a donation at the drive or by mailing a check to: Be The Match Foundation, 223 Hatherly Road, Scituate, MA 02066.
3. Volunteer to work at the drive to help registrants. Please email Laural Plourde or call her at 508-864-9374 to volunteer. Visit www.bethematch.org for more information.
